I write because I want to understand people: their choices, fears, ambitions, contradictions and the strange humour they use to survive the world. I am fascinated by the fragile line between tragedy and comedy, by people who keep going when life becomes unreasonable, and by stories that find meaning in chaos. I create with atmosphere, emotion, irony and a stubborn belief that words can still leave a mark.

The Last Lights of London
Stories that endure
London 1940 is a moving historical novel about the beginning of the Blitz, the Battle of Britain, RAF pilots, WAAF women, and a city that burns while still trying to preserve British dignity and make tea at the proper moment. Clara Ashford moves red raid markers in an underground operations room, while her husband Tom fights above England as a fighter pilot. Between them lie letters, fear, humour, love, and a war that tests how much a human heart can carry before it breaks.
